No poster and Act II in Deluxe edition anymore?

As someone who has been a backer since October 2014, I’ve thought about upgrading my tier from viscount to the next level for some time now.
And when i checked out the different tiers (again) yesterday, Act II and a poster were a part of the Deluxe Edition.
Not anymore apparently.
I was going to upgrade it today, but when you still pay the same price as yesterday and you get less bang for your buck i’m not so sure anymore.

I’ve tried searching the forum for an official statement concerning this, but sadly I haven’t been able to find any.

Any help/explanation is greatly appreciated.

They completely reworked the pledges, now it looks more like preorder with beta acces than crowdfunding pledges. I think it’s logical the same bonuses are more expensive, it rewards those who supported the game since the beginning.

Yeah, we can expect prices to go up as we get closer to release :slight_smile: Its common practice with almost all crowdfunded games (earliest adopters accept the highest risk, so they are rewarded by lower price)

I get your point, but I still find it incredibly frustrating that they change the pledges without giving any heads up.

Well I knew about it as it was mentioned it comments here on forum, but yeah, it wasn´t really publicly announced.
Its still fair to say that it is common practice to change pledge systems when game reaches different states of development (going beta being the main reason here)

Yes we are sorry about this. It was planned to announce some info about it, but there were some changes of the new tiers in a very late stage. And this was exactly the time around the Beta release and our press tour, and we just did not found the time to release any announcement about it, as this announcment was a low priority in PR.
So: I am personally sorry about it. It is my fault. :frowning:

I understand. Thank you for your answer.

Is there a tiny tiny chance that I can have the previous pledge/bonus assigned to my profile, if I choose to upgrade to deluxe edition today instead of the new one?
If not -
Will I recieve the previous Viscount pledge (Digital copy of the game, Pdf artbook, file for 3D printer etc.)?
Or will I recieve the new one (physical copy of the game, printed poster etc.)?

I hope you understand my confusion about the situation.

If you pledged for Viscount tier, you will get the Viscount package.

The new tiers just mean that people cannot get the old rewards anymore.
Dont worry, nothing is being stolen from you.

Exactly, Proky is right here. You will get your Viscount Tier. But new users can´t buy the Viscount anymore. :slight_smile:

Gotta ask, is the knight figure and the 3D print the same thing or are they two different things?

I believe they are two different things. Its been awhile since Ive looked at the Tier rewards as I bought in during the old Tier system but I think One is the file to get it printed and the other is the actual printed figure. Each corresponds to a different Tier. I could be wrong sorry if I am.

The better method is to contact one of the team directly and ask them your questions. Jiri Rydl in Marketing is one of the best people to speak to in my opinion. If he doesn’t know than he will find out. Hope this helps.
