so far no encounters at all fofr me… im about 30 hours and i find it kind off boring to travel around and never get challenged or anything. im on xbox, do any of you know a way to fix it?
Sorry, this is a tweak for PC…can’t help for consoles.
There’s a mod to increase random encounters back to pre-1.4 levels, and it’s recently updated for the newest patch.
Side note: did you know there are 114 types/variations of encounters?! 
Weird for a while I had a ‘healthy’ number of random wayfarer, beggar, knight encounters on 1.3 (PS4), but frequency seems less now. This excludes ambush/battle spawn point encounters; they haven’t changed in frequency
do you thinks it could be a bug in my save game? Maybe it will fix it self when i do another playthrogh.

Bump, just saying, I had this problem and the variables solution didn’t work. Checking memory on cheat engine didn’t work either
Any of you are level 20 and still has encounters? I heard they dimish as the level goes up
YES! Something is definately wrong about that quest! I had experience the disappearance of random events just right after that FUCKING quest!
