Hi guys, after the latest patch (1.4.3) on ps4 i have no more wayfarers encounters on fast travel and normal travel, i have just occasional attacks on the roads. The thing is that i’ve tried all possible things: i’ve restarded a new game several times on both playing lines, i’ve completely removed the game, reinstalled it and downloaded the whole patch again, but still nothing. They just wont trigger. Before the patch i had all kinds of random encounters. Can someone help me? Am i the only one that are experiencing this? This situation it’s breaking my will to play the game, so i would appreciate some help!
The latest patch is definitely working for random encounters. In fact, I disabled the “More Random Events” from Nexus because of it.
If the current state of random encounters (vanilla) isn’t your taste, I’d recommend downloading that mod. It downloads as a PAK, so just unpack the master folder and add the PAK to the core KCD Mods folder…or create a “Mods” folder and drag it in there.
It should be in your Steam/Steamapps/Common/KCD registry if you have PC. Otherwise I’ve got no advice if your on console.
I actually think the encounters are too frequent with the mod. But to each their own! It’s worth trying though.
Vanilla PS4 player here. Started a new playline after the patch and I’ve got plenty of wayfarers. Tough luck, maybe ?

I started a new game and i’m now at the quest to find Ginger, haven’t found any wayfarers yet on Ps4 Pro.
