It’s gotten to a point where I need to manually go in and delete saves just so I can save the game. What I mean is that for some reason my game has stopped over writing older save files. I’d go to sleep and it would say game saved but when I go into load game there isn’ta new save file or over written one. Is this how it’s supposed to be or do I really have to go in and delete old files just to save my game?
That is defiantly bugged. The 1.4 patch corrupted saves for hundreds of players, so what you are experiencing sounds like it could be related to that. If you haven’t already, drop them an email.
Perhaps sound advice is keeping backup of saves in another location. Not a fix, but if it helps anyone…
Yeah, that is what I have started doing. On PC there is a mod that auto backups saves, haven’t tried it though.
Well I haven’t really had any corrupted saves it’s just my game doesn’t want to over write them but no I haven’t dropped them an email. As of right now though the only way to ensure a saved game is to make sure I don’t have too many saved files but the bad thing is it auto saves constantly so I just need to delete one save then save the game and check my load to make sure it saved. But when you say 1.4 are you talking PC because I only have v1.3
