Not Receiving Account Activation E-Mail

Bah necroed an old thread - will post here too.
Not getting activation email.

I also got no activation mail. Registered a few days ago, but still no mail. Resetting PW and signing fpr the Forum worked flawlessly.

Still no activation email or manual fix. This is a minor problem, yet takes many days to fix?
Admins at non profit forums fixes problems like this in hours, yet here we are still waitingā€¦

No, less then 5 minutes per user. And this is the problem, we can only activate one user at the time, and we have a couple of hundreds of this requests, mostly by email. I will go through this thread again in a couple of hours. I know that some of you are already waiting for days, and thats why I am so rare here on the forums, I want to get this done as quick as possible and I am really busy.

But why donā€™t the system automagically remove users who donā€™t activate within 24hours?
Or give them the choice to send another activation mail?

The problem is here, that if the first email was not going through for some reason, the second mail is also not going through. We already sended a second activation mail, but it is not working, so we have to do it manually. Starting now with activation of people here in the thread :slight_smile:

@Utgir, you have different emails here on forum and on website. One with a 5 in it, and one without a 5. Which one is the correct one? Maybe this is the problem here. I will activate your profile nevertheless, and you can change it later in your settings.

If you can download the launcher, and If I can see your forum badge (which I can) you already have access to your profile and it is already active. The not working Launcher is a different matter. Do you have more details about it, so we can solve the problem, or is it already solved and the Beta runs now?

Omg the e-Mail with the 5 is the correct one.

We were sending the activation email to the nirvana because of that typo :wink:

Anyone else without out an activated profile? After 4 days of activation we should get them all slowly I think :slight_smile:

I received today an e-mail telling me that my account is now activated but this was not my problem, read again my message please:

ā€œBacked Knight Tier in kickstarter at the beginning and I didnā€™t receive the steam key, Iā€™m registered here and on the website with the kickstarter e-mail but in the profile preference I donā€™t have the field for my ā€œbacker identification numberā€ and on the profile page on the website I donā€™t have the button to download the launcherā€¦ please help me

@TasLock, I see. But are you sure you used your Kickstarter email? Please PM me with some more information about your Kickstarter pledge, as we are not able to find you in our Kickstarter Database.

Gosh, this is so annoying. Similar problem. I have pledged on this page (I dont think it was kickstarter) years ago. I remember I could login back then on the main site (not forum), but now I can no anymore. Iā€™ve reset the password for like a dozens times and the site always tells me: User account hasnā€™t been activated. Please check your mailbox for activation email. (this message is driving me insane, seriously).

I now registered a forum account with the same e-mail. This works, but not for the main site. How can I get a (re-)activation mail for my main page/pledge account?

Iā€™ve downloaded the launcher like 8 times and it never launches anything.
I checked task manager and no new processes ever appear. Iā€™m running win 7 pro 64x. Iā€™ll try restarting my PC later to see if it works.
