So I made a new playthrough with 1.4 since there was a lot of bugfixes. I played a good amount on my 1.3 save though, maybe 60-70 hours. In the quest"Train Hard, Fight Easy" when Bernard teaches you archery, I recall that if you hit the target a number of times he says something along the lines of, “That wasn’t too bad” Were as if you missed it a lot it would be “That was Awful”. now I remember this on my 1.3 playthrough and when I got to this part of the quest the other day it didn’t matter if I never missed the target or even if I mainly hit bullseyes, he still said,“That was awful”. Now I know if this is a bug it’s an incredibly small and almost meaningless one, but still, I am curious to see if anyone else can confirm this on there game. I also thought of the possibility that Warhorse changed it so he says that no matter what but I don’t really see why they would do that. Any insight would be appreciated.
I experienced the same thing. I have played through that quest a ton, and pre 1.3, it was always right. If you did well, he said as much. After 1.3, it seemed hit or miss. Now after 1.4.1, I just get the negative comments, even though at this point, I can get a damn good grouping in the center of the bullseye lol
lol I’m glad to hear it’s not just me who’s experiencing this, I even thought of uninstalling some mods that affected arrow speed and trails to see if that caused it. I did have them enabled before though and there was no issue. It’s strange and audio bug like this would occur at a very specific point
I tried it without any mods, made no difference for any of the current bugs. We just have to wait for the next patch. They have said they are aware of all the issues, and are working to solve them.
I know, and this is certainly not a crucial bug to fix immediately but still, kinda annoying
Yeah, I know what you mean, ruins immersion when you do really well and NPC’s are like “you suck” lol
lol after a few trial and errors I just chalked it up to, “Henry can’t be amazing at everything, he’s only a peasant”
Yeah, he is suppose to be just a blacksmith’s boy with no skills in the beginning lol
