Now Henry makes noises while getting the horse to go faster?

Can we get an option to disable these?

Totally excessive and… well… hearing it make these noises too often…

As someone who has ridden horses, this isn’t how you ride a horse.

I’m not often nitpicky like this but these noises are really bothering me for some reason.

probably not…
I actually thought it was a nice touch, but I see your point.

Seem they are copying Hollywood where the cowboy yells Heyaaaa! and kicks the animal to a gallop.

Yes! Those noises were introduced with a patch and it sounds like Henry is badly hurt, it startles me every time. I’d love if they switched the noises back to before the patch. They were just fine.

Talk about nitpicking…

Henry needs to change his eating habits, is all.

It’s hard… it is/was just way off from reality. Admittedly i haven’t played it awhile, got bored.

They have it like an old western movie. European riding doesn’t require verbal ques to the horse every two seconds.

Well you can wear your Pilgrim shoes.

Can’t. The Plate Armor for the legs includes an armored shoe.

Tho not exactly realistic as shown by the Kynght Errant website that showed a leather shoe and the armor was a segmented foot cover plate the got tied to the shoe.

You know the patch number which was adding the sound?

I’d love it if they went back to the beta song whistle

No it is a play on words. It’s from the John Wayne western movies. He calls newcomers “pilgrims” often.

If we can figure out which patch changed that, we can probably restore the old version

Unfortunately I don’t remember exactly, but I noticed it after the first big patch, 1.3.1 maybe?

Yep. It’s been that way for ages. Amazing how many ppl don’t patch.

I am patching but was not able to remember on which version it was changed :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

The noises have been changed! Halleluja!

Although now Henry sounds like a different person. Did they take another voice actor?
@dr. fusselpulli

Now Henry says something that sounds like ‘ya’. It’s funny to me, because in Korean 야! (Ya!) is a way of saying something like ‘Hey you!’ in English. I say something like because how you say it can convey a different sense
