When I look at the videos, all I see are enemies that are adept at using their weapon. They know the right stance, they hold the weapon the right way and they use it to attack and block perfectly. From what I gathered the difficulty of defeating them will be measured by the speed with which they do these things and by the amount of stamina they possess. But I wonder…
Are there going to be enemies, that are just not so sure about how to fight with their weapon? Enemies that attack with the wrong part of the sword (which makes the attack easy to block), who block with the wrong part of the blade (which is not effective and tires them easily), who offer their legs or shoulders for your attack by not having the proper stance or who are holding a weapon they never held before and just hold it in front of their body like a drunk holds a chair in a barfight?
I would love to fight a bandit that is used to his knife, but useless with a sword, or a street brawler, that is invincible in a fistfight, but can’t thrust a lance if it cost him his life (which it probably would). This would look especially well in a battle where peasants fight alongside soldiers. They would hardly show the best of the german swordfighting school when they never held a sword before.

I hadn’t thought of this but now that it’s been mentioned I think it’s a great idea. I guess it’d make some fights much easier than others but that’s not necessarily a bad thing at all.
maybe peasants come at you with less moves because he knows less. and he swings like the people in m&b
