NPC’s and you

So I’m yet another person who has just recently found this game and am excited, but cautious about it and am on the fence about whether or not to pre-order. I have a few questions about interacting with NPC’s that I was hoping could get answered. I apologize in advance because these have probably been asked a thousand times, however I could not find the answers when looking around the forums.

First, how much interaction with each individual is there going to be? Are a majority of NPC’s going to be like those in GTA, where you can bump into them and get a voice line but that’s basically it, or is it going to be more like Fable, where you can ‘chat’ with, befriend, and even try to marry nearly everyone. (I’m not saying Fables approach is the best. Honestly the fact that you could literally flex your way into everyone’s heart made everyone, even the unique characters feel really shallow.)

Also, how is information about your reputation managed? If I kill literally everyone in a village, leaving no survivors or witnesses, will everyone know I did it because a guard saw me do it even though he died immediately after? If I bring an old lady in the middle of the woods food, will everyone know I did it immediately and like me more? If I bring her food, then kill her before she can tell anyone I brought her food, would I still gain reputation even though no one saw me do it?

Again, im sorry if these have already been asked. If you need me to rephrase them I can.

Cheers!

Hi, most unnamed NPCs are like GTA - they are part of the enviroment, even tho they fit in enviroment really nicely with all their daily routines, chatting between each others and so on.
Then there are of course named NPCs, which are usually related to some quests. Most of them are really interesting characters, with lot of personality and such

Also: information about crimes and such, must be conveyed by NPCs in visual/hearing range.
If you steal from NPC somewhere in the woods, he will start running to alert a guard or militia in nearby village. If you implant a arrow into his back, he won´t notify anyone though
I am not sure, if this also applies for positive reputation gains, maybe someone else knows better.

Also interesting aspect is the overall world reaction depending on how you look and what your reputation is. Even random NPCs in the world will greet you differently, depending if you are known troublemaker in dirty bloody clothes, or esteemed citizen wearing beatiful tunics on shiny plate armors. When you are dirty, you are much more likely to be routinely searched by guards, or on the other side when you are known better they will start addressing you by your name, give you discounts and so on
