NPC walk/ride speed VS Henry's Walk/Ride speed

So this is a pretty common issue in RPG games, but for one so focused on immersion, this really breaks it for me. I HATE having to alternate between walking and running just to keep up with an NPC I’m supposed to be following. As mentioned, it’s incredibly immersion breaking in a game which is supposed to be all about that. Please, guys, do something about this. Either allow the PC to walk/canter at the same speed as NPCs do, or create an auto-follow option that will allow us to match their speed. Constantly alternating between speeds is unrealistic and extremely jarring. Please do something about this.

This, however, is my biggest complaint with the game. I have experienced no crashes, no bugs of any sort, game breaking or otherwise, and am thoroughly enjoying my time playing. This one issue simply irks me, and if this was fixed it would be perfect. Please, please do something about this.

I think it has to do with your speed stat.

Well, it’s nice to hear that there could potentially be a fix… but that worries me as well. instead of fixing it, if my speed gets higher, then I’ll be walking too fast for NPCs instead of too slow. I’d much rather the speed skill effect running/sprinting, and leave walk speed as a constant, if for only keeping up with walking NPCs.
