I actually have about a hundred questions for this topic, but for everyone’s sake I’ll focus on one thing at a time. I’m generally interested in which mechanics affect the NPCs in the same way that they effect the player. We all know that NPCs have routines and so on - but if, for example, a player manages to keep an AI awake for long enough, will that NPC also die from sleep deprivation? Will NPCs die from starvation? If not it would be great to see the AI affected by all the same rules as the player, it would give us so many options for gameplay, increase immersion, and allow the player to strategise without thinking ‘like a game’, if you know what I mean - one of the joys of KCD is that you can plan and think just as you would in real life, shooting a charging soldier in the leg to slow them down, for example, and not simply in terms of a limited bunch of game mechanics. If the answer is no, are there any plans to flesh the game out in this way? Or will it just be bug fixes from now on?
