On the fly suggestions

Hello, I’ve been playing the game for few days now and I would like to share a Thing that really I don’t like about the game. Cat-eyes. It’s really aggravating being totally unable to see in the dark while the enemies seems totally fine walking around in the dead of the night without a source of light. As a sthealty Henry I need to act cunning to take out my foes and always bumping in the cat-eye patrol really ruin my immersios. I even noticed that many villagers walk in the roads without any light. It’s already quite immersion-breaking to find normal people traveling in the dark (in 1400 it was not the safest hobby), but also doing it in complete darkness it’s silly.

Is it possible to give lights to everyone who is travelling/patrolling during the night?

There is a potion recipe you can buy called Nighthawk that basically works like Cat in the Witcher and allow you to see easier in the dark.

I will look at the potion, but still it seems weird that apparently anyone has the potion always active, especially since the game made so much focus on realism.

Besides the potion, there’s the old stand-by of increasing your gamma. Tried that?

It could be that your gamma is too low, so you can’t see, but the game really has enough light for NPCs to see.

I think the opponents can not see well at night either.
When I sneak up on a camp at night with the bow and let go of the first shot,
they come up to a few meters, on the line of sight, but then stay again for a while.
If you sneak slowly backwards, they have real problems to find you.
and you can nip off one by one.
Depends of course on your skills and the clothes you wear.
