I just started playing the beta again, this time around I got a new quest addon to “On the scent” which the shop keeper wants me to bring him 5 game. Now he had mentioned earlier in the dialog that it was rabbits (hares). I have not seen a single animal besides horses or chickens in this game. I ran around for 4 hours in the fields, woods and river sides and not even a frog, deer or rabbit were found. Am I looking in the wrong area?
Uhh…well I’m very sure i saw a rabbit…near by the woodworkers camp…
Can confirm ,there are rabbits in the beta.
You can chance upon some in the Pribislavitz forest (north of talmberk)
Its mostly enough to just walk on the roads and they will cross your path.

The fastest way to solve the quest:
Check the cellar/basement of the shop keeper. There are enought games. You can bring him his own stuff. 
how do i hit the rabbits tho?
Bow and arrows. I don’t think you can close enough to melee them.
