Thats one of the known quest talk bugs in the beta. The only thing you can do is delete all the save games and start a new game (and hope for the best). Sorry!

I did that and he still refuses to talk to me. But oh well. Unrelated question Lost Sword quest how do I learn more about Leshek ?

You need a high talk skill, start as diplomat, maybe higher. Meet him in Samopesh at evening. :blush:

@Sir_Rick Nevermind! it works now dunno why. All I did was go too the army camp duel some fools and came back :S
