First of all I’m in love with this game. It’s an old school RPG with serious challenge that is keeping me up to 3 and 4am. I’m at work thinking about it and can’t wait to get home to play it. I havn’t felt this way toward a game in probably over a decade, not even the dumbed down new Elder Scrolls games. However I want a medieval RPG simulation, I don’t want a vision loss simulation.
To quote a post I made on the nexus to an author who created a mod that disables vignettes:
Thank you so much. It just utterly boggles my mind that these vile, nasty looking graphical “features” are put into games without the option to turn them off. Time and time again the majority of the PC community expresses their hatred for this eye wrecking junk and yet they continue to force them in their games without options to turn them off.
Motion Blur, Depth of Field, Vignettes, Mouse Acceleration. Do people really enjoy the simulation of macular degeneration in their games?
Anyways, cheers!
