I can’t open the console window by pressing the tilde key. Disabled all gaming overlays. Tried changing the language and region of the keyboard (US English default). I’ve even tried the pop-up keyboard that windows 10 uses for touch screen interfaces. The tilde works in other games. Doesn’t matter if I add the -devmode line to the Steam launch parameters.

Did you verify your game cache on your Steam library? Will the tilde character type if you open up a text file? In years past, I have had similar issues with games running on older Win OS, and the problem always turned out to be a windows config setting which was preventing the key input from being properly conveyed to the app by the OS. Totally guess, but I’d say it might be a win 10 issue, else a launch config issue.
Yeah, the tilde works outside of KC:D. And it’s worked in the past.

How about a new game? Sometimes a save bugs out in really minor ways
