i put this sidequest aside due to its bug back in v1.25.
now i cant interact with hans nor his chest to access his belongings to continue the quest.
hotfix please

Same problem for half. I can’t interact with the chest, seems to be an inert component of the game also with patch 1.3.1

I just found out, that the chest works, if you speak to Hans Capon outside of his chambers. I.e. Rattay baths, or somewhere out. When he will not take the clothes.
Seems interaction of NPC with the chest while Henry is present makes it a non-usable item.
I spoke to him in town near the tavern. Never seen him in his room
Had same problem, saved game just before talking to sir Hans. Worked fine for me the first time, then got stuck at ”looking” his chest, the quest didnt continue, until i took all items in the chest…
Both hans and the chest are not interactable for me… the ‘e’ command doesnt show up for both.
wish there was a console command to advance the quest stage haha
If you spoke to him while he was there in the previous patch then his clothes and sword will be in the chest, and when you open it, he will run around naked and unarmed for the rest of the game when not in his armor.
Making the chest non interactive while his gear is in there is probably their way of preventing that from happening.
