Patch 1.3, the patch from hell

On PC, wich should be the least worst of the platforms. Still, it is a mess. You got the major bugs that screw up the quests, but even just walking around it is amazing how many times I get stuck in bushes, or my horse can not run anymore (only walk), etc. To many crap to sum up. The patch made it worst for me. I manage to finish the game and accepting the bugs, but with the patch, I tried three times to start a new game but with no succes. I gave up. This studio have taken great reputation damage with their first game. Shame, seems they really wanted to bring out a great game, but lack management.

I find the 1.3 patch very welcome and I’m happy with it.
Sure it’s still not perfect, but the save game crashes seems to be resolved, better textures (ps4 pro) and a lot of bugs already neutralized.
So they did a good job to get rid of the worst game breaking things, now just hold on a bit till the annoying little things get settled.

I think a lot of people are confusing difficulty and new game mechanics with bugs.
Also people are nitpicking wit visuals and all

No problems what so ever on my 5 year old ps4.

I never finished this game because of all the bugs (Xbox X) in hindsight I should have gotten a refund, it’s one of the only games I never finished and probably never will.

That may not be a bug. If your jump is too deep then some time horse cannot run.

Oh my
You haven’t played many games, have you? I still remember all those quests I couldn’ finish in New Vegas (which is one of my favourite games)
 or Rome 2 Total war
Upon the release of that game, NOTHING worked there
 nothing

Hmmmm
I dunno. I do really like this game, but I think I have to agree, it’s ridiculously buggy. I don’t think I’ve ever seen another game this buggy. Maybe I have been “lucky”. But I’m pretty much accustomed now to riding around town with “invisible bridges”, NPC’s with no heads, etc., clothes loading on NPCs seconds after you see them, 50% of the quests seemingly bugged somehow from somewhere between quest-breaking to “huh that was weird”. It doesn’t break the game, so I ignore it. But I’ve never seen anything so blatantly buggy on any other game (Playstation 4 Pro).

Luckily the game is still good enough that it’s fun to play. But it looks more like an Alpha release than a finished release.

No, it is constantly. Also after fast travel.

Funny, my game had no issues.

Some good news; don’t know why but I get random events again. The riddle guy, some mercenaries and even a corpse with that douche hanging around. Still, not as many as I used to get, but it’s some positive again after all the crap (still think they created a good game, just not finished it).

The bad; got 19 hours of jail time for killing a chicken during a archery contest (the thing just walked there in front of us archers, what do you expect me to do with such a temptation?). Sounds reasonable

You can ignore it or you have no demands etc., but we all have same broken game

No issues, not a single one?
You really want us to believe that?

What purpose does this thread have?
Yes, the game is still buggy. Maybe me and most of my friends are lucky, but 1.3 fixed the game breaking bugs for us. Yes there is still texture pop-in, random events got fewer and there are halberds lying all over Rattay. But thats mostly it, no true dealbreakers

However, this thread is not constructive at all. People being salty about bugs but hardly naming any. Say how those bugs occur and give the devs something work with. Otherwise this is just pathetic whining

<— has an unbroken game /shrug

Being constructive? Hardly naming any?
Hey fanboy, I have reported bugs in the way they ask us to, via that email adres. Zero response. Love the game makers approach and therefore finished the game first before complaining. But there is a line in the sand, wich this game has crossed.
Hardly any bugs? Don’t take just my word, just look at this forum wich seems just to be a bug reported orgy lately. Don’t even mind the rest of the forums and reviews.
If you really are trying to be the hardcore fanboy that keeps defending this game had hardly any bugs, you’re an ass.

I think we are all having vastly different experiences with the game depending on our respective platforms. I’m sure Warhorse is working to fix all platforms. Yours is likely to end up with the most polish eventually. I feel for your situation, hope it gets fixed soon. Lets keep it civil.

So this thread is indeed without cosntructive purpose, thank you for confirming

I dont know what platform you are on, it runs mostly smooth on my midrange PC on ultra.

You already played the whole game. Yet you cry and feel entitled that the devs need to do your bidding. Because you spend 50 bucks on the game? Game development doesnt work this way.

Maybe you should give growing up a chance, once you are done drawing lines in the sand

If you really read this thread first, you should know I am on pc.

Then, if you think game business is about charging full price (60 Euro in my case, not 50 “bucks”) and delivering not full product, you know nothing about business.

Constructive thread? No, this is obviously not. Like said before, tried to be constructive in various ways, but with zero response or result from Warhorse. Now I just tried to vent some feeling, although with a large portion of sarcasm, if have any notion of that.
Don’t like it? Don’t read my post, but surely do not try to tell me what I should think about it and what I do with it.

I didn’t read this thread fully. Tho I did catch your other thread questioning when is the patch coming.

Seems they hurried it up. Congratulations.

Well i got a response from warhorse to my bug report today, so it doesnt seem they ignore bugs sent.

Im pretty sure, if they know a workaround for your bugs they would tell you (they didnt for me, they just had additional Questions on my Bug report).

The thing is: If they can’t tell you anything, they won’t. You get the Auto-message, that your report has been received and, if it needs a patch tpo be fixed, you won’t hear more.

Its okay this way, because why should they spend time they need for bug fixing to deal with consumer complaints they can’t help with?

Also im sure they sort Bugs by urgency, so game breaking ones first (and they decide whats gamebreaking).

Its unuasual for a technical support/ bug reporting crew to engage in personal cumminication with the player, thats not their job. Anyways, i dont appreciate Warhorse holding their heads down and keep silent about the issues players experience. The community team should do their best to calm the storm, and that works best by an apology and a promise to fix the unfinished stuff as fast as possible. Players just want to see some humility, thats for most of them, reassuring enough to hold to the Game. Im missing such a statement.
