I have noticed that there are only two shield types in the game. The triangular shields and the german “Tartsche”. Both of wich i do like, but a bit more diversity would be nice… Since the Pavese was an very popular and diverse shield type and there are depictions of it from the 13th to the 16th century.
i think that it would be fitting for the game
What do you guys think?
i think we need Content update. There are alot of empty spots to fill up with DLCs and content updates.
More weapons like Crossbows, bows, shields.
NPCs with not dialogues or content, Empty locations like woodcuter camps, charcoal kiln, Accident places and such.
There is so much perspective in future for this game.
I think the modding scene will be huge… like skyrim
i have seen more than 2 one is square shaped, one is triangle and one is circle so far…
Well the square shields are “Tartschen” ive seen them too. Have you found round ones wich are not from cumans?
not really I saw it on a cuman
this would be cool if there was in the game its traingler like the one it exist but much bigger it covers the whole body
Sorry, but i dont think that kind of shield was still in use in the 15th century…
A pavese shield would need a whole new mechanic though as it is placed on the earth rather than holding in the hand. It really offers something in siege situations but almost none in world combat.
no not really… there are many types of pavese shields… some to set into the ground and some to fight from horseback or on foot…
I’m only aware of “Tartschen” which look almost identical to the pavese shields but are much smaller, so they can be carried with one hand while in action/fighting. Can you give me a link?
