Update: I’ve solved my issue. It was not the game at fault. If you use an XBox One controller, remember there are levers on the bottom that determine which Triggers are RT or LT, respectively. I had them switched. So make sure they have not been accidentally moved. This thread can be closed. Sorry for the trouble.
