I find your mods to be a bit game breaking, I personally wouldn’t be able to play with such edits due to the immersion breaking difference in difficulty it would create but I am not judging you! I am glad you can enjoy the game by doing so.

I use the following mods to enchance my Kingdom Come Deliverance experience:

With these mods I try to balance my game. I enjoy the difficulty as it makes me rethink my actions multiple times instead of just approaching them without care.

Mods:
Show bow reticle (does what it says on the can)
Translucent helmet vision (because the visor is a bit too obrtrusive)
Trader restock (they will actually restock money)
Roads are risky (more encounters)

to me, i’ve download the HD stuff (on PC… yeah finally caved in and bought PC). still not a hugely compelling difference relative to PS4 output … at least on UHD TV.

first part: the list of changes you made is long. the only one that i didn’t like was -No Stamina Visual Effect

second part: since KCD release, I’ve had a number of conversations with you and others about PC vs console. now having KCD both on PS4 and PC, I can compare and contrast. lots of master race users talk about the difference as if it’s of huge importance to them and should drive studio decisions. to me, the graphics quality is (much) better on PC (with HD textures), but the difference isn’t that great. in slang, it’s not a game changer. for graphics to be a game changer, the quality on PC would have to be on the photorealism level one can see in the new Lion King movie. not there yet.

graphics aside, i think there are a couple PC game changers: (1) being able to beta test in Steam and (2) having modding support (mods and apps that facilitate creation of mods)

third part: i understand your preference may be different than mine. that said, i’d like to know the top 5 or top 10 (config) changes you made (in that list). (if possible, i’d also appreciate a brief explanation … why those and not the others). why am i asking this? i prefer to make changes in small bits. knowing your top5-10 would allow me to do so

No, it doesn’t. It just changes horses’ appearance.

Hm… i dont like the effect because in RL i will not getting a blue vignette effect around my iris (eyes)!
That visual effect is crap since the invention of such effects! It looks often so funny and not realistic.
I am not an expert in describing the decisions why i installed them. All these decisions are an effect of a long gamer history with many different sights on what a genre could be and what not. Most time my decisions are from real life experience. Usually i have more mods installed (from 1.0/release to actual) but i was a bit out of time to upgrade them by myself. I can say again, there isnt really a 5 to 10 top list. All mods i’ve used from release day are these ones which i need in ever stage of KCD. I am a little drunk and busy in time (atm i am doing the finalization of JKJA Unlocker) but i can figure out why i did all these things. It will need time and a lot of text. The right color brings the real atmosphere in very dark nights and stormy situations^^

in the absence of KCD provoking RL effects of overexertion (profuse sweating, cramps, black outs, dyspnea, nauseau and vomiting) i’ve come to accept the cheesy blue visual effect

I remember that the Beta had better visual effects. It included some cramp-like movements of camera and occasional tripping. It’s a pity they are not there anymore.
