People asking for save anywhere anytime

You people need to just play the game a little more to realize this isn’t an issue >.<

I play it when I get the opportunity, which isn’t that much.

Today one of the developers promised “save & quit” feature. I would welcome it.

I’m a backer, I didn’t have any gameplay to watch when I decided to support this game.

In any case, I have no desire to have a diminshed experience just because you’re too weak-willed to avoid save-scumming. But I’ll be generous: Warhorse should make an ironman mode for people like you, so you can pick the hardcore experience at the start and never think about the temptation. The rest of us can have our save on exit. Everyone wins.

Would that work for you?

There is a mod for it since YESTERDAY.

People were so pissed off at this system, that someone cracked it hours after launch.

If people think it’s an issue, it’s an issue. It might not be for you, so have fun with the game, but at least don’t be elitist, telling people they’re wrong for not having fun themselves.

If you just play the game a little you’ll realize how easy money is and therefor schanpps are. Schanpps are to slow save abuse. Late game you’ll have upwards of 100k$ and schanpps will be nothing and you can save whenever you want. Even now I have 2k on me and 10 schnapps.

Not an elitist, just not a fan of such an easy game like Skyrim - Save, die, reload, die, reload, die, reload, win.

Nobody is being patient and willing to put in 20hours before complaining.

If the devs choose to cater to those who whine as they don’t have somebody to hold their hand, so be it. But I’m extremely happy with how it is currently.

Just how you people are here to vocalize that you want an easier game. I have free will and right to vocalize my opinion that the game is perfect as is and nothing needs to change.

@zeltchoron You keep saying over and over that it isn’t an issue, but there was a mod hours after launch for it on PC and there are a tonne of people in the forums complaining about it, so there is obviously an issue that some people have with it.
Just because you enjoy the save system, doesn’t mean everyone else is required to also like it. Different people have different opinions than you, and adding in a system to cater to that audience wouldn’t affect you in any way.
We aren’t asking for anything to be taken out of the game. We are asking for either a save & exit or (if Warhorse are feeling generous) a mode completely separate from the one you enjoy that could allow for manual saving. You wouldn’t lose out from anything you are experiencing at the moment.

I have a right to vocalize my opinion. Thanks

I agree, previous games that I’ve played allowed a lot of freedom for the user as the games weren’t based in reality or survival. I think the developers choices now forces the user to think about what they’re doing and why. We’ve gotten to comfortable with numerous creature comforts like infinite saves, button-smashing, and the like. We should step away from previous expectations to think about how a character should interact with their world, not just what’s convenient for us.

But wouldn’t it be better to give that choice to the player? If they don’t want the current hardcore experience, shouldn’t there be an option that allowed them to save when they want?
That way you could enjoy the game the way you want to and everyone else can play it at their leisure.

It really isn’t hardcore. I can’t say it enough times. I have 2k plus 10 schanpps. If I need to leave immedietly it takes 2 seconds to drink a schanpp and bam saved. There doesn’t need to be any changes.

I play on my PS4 and since I am able to put it in standby instead of turning it off I am able to pause the game and simply put the system in standby. Thus “suspending” the game until I can find time to play later. Its that easy.

There’s a difference between being inconvenienced in-game and being inconvenienced in real life.
This is a video game. A hobby. A hobby I backed to fund. If it’s inconveniencing me in real life, it’s a reasonable issue.

“I don’t need change therefore NOBODY does”.
Unless you personally funded the whole game and it was made specifically for you, other people’s complaints are valid, especially if what’s being asked for does NOT AFFECT YOU.

You just confirmed what I said. your progression is just higher. They dont want you to save whenever you want. So you do it by spending Money found on a raid. It means saving but with no Money. Double fail.

Thats Not Smart gamedesign

Just need the quit on exit and during quest stages. It destroys immersion also if you spend two hours taking your character forward and then you lose it all because someone kills you while you’re unconscious. In the meantime I’m going to use the save mod and try not to skyrim abuse it if I can help it.

What is the point of the drink ingame if you can just press start and save anytime? It isnt hard to get to buy them you people are just lazy

I can’t believe people are offended by users asking for a save anywhere/anytime mechanic. You don’t want it? don’t use it. If i want to play the game for a quick 10 minute session, I can’t now. Sure the PS4 has suspend/resume, but I can’t go into another game without first having to save the previous. Please devs, add in difficulty modes where people can choose savior schnapps mode, or save anytime mode. Please

Its too late… there already ruining the game requesting for features to be change (which will be happening btw) because there too god damn lazy

What game do you play for a quick 10 minutes. This aint skyrim and if you only have 10 minutes to spare you shouldnt even be on a game. Simple as your just another whiny bitch. This aint call of duty where you can jump on for a ‘quick’ game
