Does it require it? are the updates that come out automatic like Steam and the Blizzard launcher? I just want to make sure that if your server is offline or my internet goes down that I can still play no problem. I know during the Alpha that internet was required but under the Beta requirements I do not see such a thing, so I just want to make sure before I buy the game. Thanks

Okay. It depents on the Version. If you have the Steam version, then persistent internet connection is required. Right now every new user gets the Launcher version, because we don´t have much Steam codes left.
With the Launcher version, you need the connection for the download of the game, the installation and for every start of the game. If the game runs once, you don´t use the internet connection anymore.
The Steam version later, at the release of the game will also require internet conncetion because of Steam.
How it will be about other versions of the final game is not known yet.

Yes, this is a quite reasonable question.
So as long as I can connect to the internet once each time I load the game I am ok, that way if I lose internet during gameplay I can still play the game.
Yes, this is true for the Beta right now. Unfortunately it is not known yet how it will be for the final game.
