Persons name tags during conversations

Hello, simple question. Could there appear some name tag of a person I am talking to, during a conversation?
I am still not sure who is Mariana
Just kidding, but I got little bit confused, and there was no way to find out who is who.

I understand you dont want the name tags to fly above people heads, that would ruin the atmosphere, but it would sure help during conversations. Thanks.

Ehm… Pls world, dont ignore me…

I for one am also curious what people think about this so it would be nice to hear what other’s take is on this gameplay element

After the first talk, it would be okay if the name is display in the dialoge, but NOT hovering in the world over the head… :grinning:

There are some NPC Henry should know before he talks, because ā€œthe world is a small villageā€. For example he must know the name of the blacksmith, and some more…

I think something subtle (whether that’s in one of the bottom corners of the screen or in the top middle, would be nice, once the person is known).

I don’t know how all the character interactions are going to pan out, but I think the first interactions with someone should involve, depending on who you’re talking to, some cordial introductions and the next time you talk to them, their name is already present on your screen, and they may say ā€œhello againā€ or tip their hat/helmet to you next time they see you, etc.

I think it would also be a nice touch that if you see a guy working as a blacksmith, as you initiate a conversation, his placeholder name should be ā€œblacksmithā€, until replaced by his actual name, should you be made known of it.

That way if you happen to run into him at the bar later, you have an idea of who he is.

but only once you know who the person is (in game)

Sure, that seems logical.
