Hello, I will get a physical copy of the game on PC (collectors edition for backers), but now I have notebook without DVD mechanics. Is there any code in the physical copy of the game? or I need a digital edition to install the game. Thanks
I am not sure, but most likely you will get a steam code anyway. Maybe through your profile, steam code gets updated from beta to full release code. Or in you physical package there will be a pamphlet with a code.
Otherwise you could buy a external dvd reader, which connects to your laptop through a usb cable. There are some cheap ones.
I don’t want to mislead anyone. When I bought Mafia 2, I also got a DVD as I expected installation from there but game was downloaded. I also saw cases, I got key inside a DVD cover as well. So you should be fine. Better wait for confirmation.
