Before the monastery quest the crimp tells you Pious stole some money and he’s supposed to have it. But there’s no hints as to where that money is. Is there even a stash (besides Siskin’s I mean) or did he only say that to let Henry know he can be persuaded in other ways?
There is a loot box in the dormitory with a dagger and a gold cross with the value of 650 Groschen. Maybe thats the gold considering you another novice to react to the dagger

Are you sure you don’t mean the one on the balcony next to the dormitory? The one with Necronomicon 2, 200 gold and an ornate dagger is Siskin’s stash.
Or you could mean just any cabinet, there are half a hundred valuable crosses in cabinets around the cloister, but no dagger I believe, at least not that I’ve found.
Could you say exactly where the box you mean is?
Go to the abbot room, beside the notebookthat has the record of the novices there is a jetted notes. Read it and follow it you will find it on a small island beside the monastery in between trees.

In the dormitory there is a box with a hard lock in the corner next to the toilet with a gold cross and a dagger hidden in it getting that dagger Will trigger a dialog with pious where he says its his fathers momento (and NO its not siskin)
