Platform Inquiry

Hello,

First off I know this has been addressed multiple times here on the forum.

So I pre-ordered through the site, not kickstarter (I missed the timelines for that) . I could swear i chose the Xbox platform when I ordered, but upon checking up on the status of both the game and my order I saw that it is in fact set as PC Windows. I read up on the forum here and saw that I seem to have missed the deadline ( I didn’t see the email from a few weeks ago until today) to switch my platform due to WH having to make sure the games reach us upon release, which is completely understandable ( I have Baron Physical, Non Kickstarter ).

I have doubts, and I really don’t want to be a pain. But I was wondering if there is anything that can be done, perhaps changing it to digital for Xbox One so the mailing wouldn’t be an issue? I would certainly like a physical copy but I would survive, begrudgingly, without it. If not I suppose i’ll just buy it again on Xbox and have the physical version for PC to look at… and touch sometimes. I figure it couldn’t hurt to ask.

But pretty sure that on the site was only PC (no Xbox/PS)…

Maybe you could sell your copy to a friend or gift it to a family member on their Birthday? I know it’s frustrating to be going through what you are, but sometimes we just have to find the best solution around problems beyond our control. I’m planning on buying 3 more copies as gifts for upcoming family birthdays.

I’m certain it was an option, and still is. But i could be wrong.

And that’s what i’ll probably end up doing if all else fails @RobertEmerald . I’m not terribly frustrated, just figured i’d ask around and see if anything can be done.

You are right. As a Baron you had the choice, as this is the same tier as it was on Kickstarter. Unfortunately, we don´t have spare console keys left, we will not distribute the game on console, so we only ordered the specific number which we need for our backers at our partner Deep Silver. We can´t simply buy “only one more”.
This isn´t retail, it is wholesale trade, so we would have to buy it in huge numbers which we could not sell.
