Player vs weather

I think the inclusion of weather would be excellent, especially if it had significant gameplay effects, though I would be okay if it was mostly just visual effects.

The weather could influence the weight of the player and NPCs, since someone wearing unprotected cotton clothes would become a little heavier (the weight of the cloths increases, for example, from 1 to 3) and could also become a little tired.

do you think it would be practical to model the effects of clothing that is a fraction heavy from rain?

do you honestly believe people would become tired from having wet clothes?

facepalm

if you can carry 100x, having 80x in stuff and 19x in cloth and armor, having 1 more could mean that you can’t care anything more.

and no I don’t think people would be tired from having wet clothes alone, but it could have a negative bonus
making it easier to be tired + making other stuff. Of course, considering that one could be tired at all.

actually depending on what you’re wearing you can be VERY weighed down by wet cloths. If you’re wearing a heavy absorbent coat that can turn from 10 pounds to 50 quite easily when soaked. That would be the coat alone. Then whatever else you’re carrying.
