Playing as a female character possible DLC

It is quite possible that the game will continue in time well into the Hussite wars. These were important not only as regards religious freedom, but also when it comes to spread of education and female empowerment.

There were female fighters in the Hussite armies and they did a good job in that.

I think Warhorse has reason for putting female character in a history game.

There is a simple solution, no DLC required. Just add an option to change Henry’s pronouns. :slight_smile: Warhorse could even let us change gender midgame.

Yeah Henry can go through a sex change operation midgame lol unbelievable.

thats even more unrealistic than straight up having a female protagonist
that, moreso that anything else would ruin the games realism

really? Can you cite a source of this? that would be an interesting read

Who said anything about a sex change? He’d just change his pronouns, no castration required.

Didn’t you know trans rights were widely accepted in early 15th century Bohemia?

Don’t be silly, only humans can be dragon-kin.

What, no google in your part of the world? There’s plethora of sources. Consider this just the introduction.

Not only that, but women were ordained also as priests.

WTF are you doing on the forum of a game that tries to be as historically accurate (without sacrificing gameplay) as possible if you don’t like historically accurate games?

@Stotek Sheildmaidens are a myth , that all depends on what historein you believe.
Celtic and Viking woman fought at the side of there men if they wished, only the Christian Church and Muslim Mosque stopped women from being mans equal.
There are Alot of women that fought at the side of there man in the middle ages as well.

You said it gameplay. Historically accurate games are good, until they go to far and l fall asleep from boredom.

Source or get out.

@vonPig
No , go find it yourself.

Except that isn’t true. Viking women fought in a handful or desperate battles and defended the home while the men where on campaign. Christian women did the second as well. I don’t know if Muslim or Celtic women did either.

It simply didn’t make sense to put the progenitors of your next generation on the front lines when their upper body strength was much lesser. If WH wanted to go full realism on a female character they’d need to either give her a max strength of ~12 or retcon Henry as being a total wimp.

@qwerty68

Have you ever used a sword or an axe before , because l have and so has my little sister , she can use a bow and a viking style axe and shield.
Take a class or two and learn how to use a sword or an axe and then come back and tell my little sister she can’t do it. You do know where she will stick that little axe of hers.
Have a look at how big a fighting axe is, you do not have to be Mr Universe to wield it.

You realize 12 strength is enough to wield almost every weapon in the game, right? I never said she, or any other women, couldn’t use an axe. I said that it would have been inefficient for ancient societies to deploy women on the front lines. There is a huge difference.
