Please Dont Rework manual saving

So what is your opinion on save and exit system Stotek?

This thread is a clear example of whats wrong with the game. So many basic gameplay decisions have been made by the developers on behalf of the gaming community as if they don’t trust us with them. In a game that is supposedly multiple choice, it is a very curious approach to take important choices away from the players even before they first dive into the game.

Would you mind further articulating your point? I don’t understand what you mean by “supposedly multiple choice”
you feel the game does not provide a player freedom of choice with how the game will progress?

its a punishment system
same reason you wave to wait the timer in jail vs getting a quick black screen and being released. they want you to feel the weight of your hasty decisions. they have timers on speech, wait times for jail, fast travel, sleep, you have to eat and people want to complain about the save system. Brew schnapps, it takes like 5 minutes. If the add a new save mechanic or a stat reset potion i better get something for having not used them like the game was intended to be played

I think learning that the bed saves is pretty standard stuff but if you pay attention food and sleep shouldnt be an issue. If you progress story/quest lines saves happen pretty often and if you frequent rattay/the miller outside rattay often you can save in the two free beds, you can sell stuff to merchants in town(if you have highborn perk) or sell to Miller Peshik(?) if you have lowborn perks. In rattay, right near the entrance, you can visit an herbalist with an alchemy bench right outside and the ingredients for savior schnapps are relatively cheap.

The learning curve is pretty crazy but we shouldnt change things, maybe just be more informative when we do the tutorial on how saves works and such (which i think they did fine but apparently people are having issues)

food, there are pots everywhere and the black/brown bread is pretty cheap, lasts a long time and does like 17 nutrition; plus you can find dried fruits and stuff on almost every dead body which doesnt expire.

the more you play the easier it gets, Henry is super inexperienced and so is the player; you both have to learn together and that, I think, is what makes it fun and rewarding

@Red_Fox676 I support the save exit feature as long as it deletes the save upon resuming to stop people from exploiting the game with saves. This is a game of actions, reactions, consequences and rewards.

exactly. Or a longer load time/stat reduction upon loading that save. Savior Schnapps isnt hard to brew and beds arent hard to come by
