Poisoning arrows… its little stupid than you cant poison more then one arrow with one potion… you use potion to poison a longsword but you poison only 1 arrow? rly? It will by nice for example use one potion to poison about 20 arrows or somethink like that

While I agree that it would be a lot more convenient, it would also op the player too much. You can pretty much one shot kill people anyway with a strong bow. I poison 2-3 arrows and reserve them for the VIPs like bandit leaders
it would already be good if its 5 arrows instead of 1
if you dont want to be op you dont have to poison it
but if you want to poison it, it shouldn’t be one arrow at a time

on the bright side though, you can loot and re-use poisoned arrows
if you can only poison one arrow perhaps it is for stealth…putting the puppet poison or bane poison on an arrow, killing your target and reapplying to another arrow in the shadows for you other target? maybe because of how OP arrow already are, adding poison to a lot of them is just silly? Idk…gonna use poison arrows tonight through, thanks for the idea!
i wonder if i apply the plague cure, or whatever it’s called, to an arrow if I can shoot people and cure them…lol
I think this is realistic. Think about how you would do it in a real world. You take out an arrow, you take out your flask of poison, you dip the arrow into the flask, you shoot it. Now, if you were to dip 5 arrows at the same time, where would you put them without risking to wipe the poison off or poisoning something that is not meant to be?

Why I think it will be better for a stealth/assassin character vs a bowman who shoots poisonous arrows. Maybe get one ready, launch it and then just go to regular arrows after that. You’re spot on
in real you will put poison to some bowl, take 5 - 15 arrows and all put in into the poison dont be silly
I think his point is that the AMOUNT of poison require to poison a blade is the same as ONE arrow.
However, as stated above, you can reuse that poison arrow. So I just write it off as “very thick coat of poison that never wears off” and handwaive the concept. Good enough for me I suppose.
I’m sorry, unlike you, I’m not an expert bow shooter, so I don’t know where to store a bowl of poison when I’m in the wilderness or in the enemy’s rear.
I don’t know about arrows but you’ll have a very poisonous quiver that’s for sure lol

I just want to say than you use all potion on poison long sword and same quantity of potion you use for poison one arrow its stupid brain fuck logic… on long sword you need mutch more poison than on arrow dart
Any poison has never been carried in large amounts. For a sword, it is usually the tip that is poisoned. And it has essentially the same size as a tip of an arrow. Besides, depending on the kind of a poison you use it may not be that stable on open air to be effective enough after several hours of travel from the alchemy table to the target.
still you dont accept fact and you use mutch more poison to poison sword (it cost one bottle of poison) and same capacity you use on one arrow its bullshit… and you can have bowl for poisoning in your inventory… it was just example
This is bowl and this you can have in your horse stash or in your own
You can put poison into bowl, poison 10 arrows in stack and put rest of poison back to bottle

you have two tipes of poison water based and oil based… poison from paris is oil base poison and oil base liquid have long liveon fresh air… with oil base poison you dont loose effection of poison in hours… you loose effection on days mby weeks
but @ilya1502 said you poisoned the tip of the sword, which I agree with, and that is about the same size as an arrow. Eithe way, you are not meant to poison whole quivers because that is stupid and bow/arrow is already OP enough anyway. It is for sneak kills, guaranteed. Throw some Bane or some Dollmaker or whatever it’s called and hide in the shadows and throw an arrow at that guard who is standing in one spot and wont move or whatever…I’ll guarantee that is what the intention of it is, like it or not
