I scrolled and got lost through the forums, so forgive me if this topic has already been mentioned, but has anyone heard or wish to see them possibly make available in the future a 3rd person view option for this game? I don’t mind the 1st person, but I think it would be great to switch back and forth like on other games similar to this. Also, my room mate bought it and missed the part of the description where it said first person experience, sadly to say, she cannot play it but maybe 5 to 10 minutes before getting motion sickness. Poor thing lol
I have found the majority of people and devs don’t care about the fewer people who get sick. I’m gonna try to get my money back. Sadly now a days, people seriously just don’t care. Good luck.
This game is ment to be as realistic as it can be, so 1st person veiw is intended and will probably stay that way for better immersive play.
It’s immersive no matter what view it’s in though
If you want third person you can always play skyrim.

And I have played Skyrim, this game is completely different in story and every other aspect. I never said that I had a problem with the POV of the game. I wasnt rude, if you want the features offered in a completely different game go play it. Perhaps you should research games before you impulse buy. The style of game play and experience they want the player to have is suited for 1st person. Once you stray from that they feel of the game and combat is 100% different. 3 rd person allows you to view things in a wat that you never could. I researched it as well. I knew it was first person. I get that for immersion however my head doesn’t bob around like that at all in real life. The option to turn that off should be there for the players who are sensitive to this. Just a way to include more players I suppose. I gave up and got a refund. I really wanted to play the game so I did so broken hearted but my stomach is happy.

Aww I’m sorry to hear that for you. The game is absolutely amazing and I love it very much, and it sucks that some people, like yourself and my room mate, won’t be able to enjoy it now

That’s ok Serana is happy. She gets to play with me more in Skyrim. Love that game and her lol. Maybe one day, they will add option to turn off the head bob. Feel sorry for Henry…think he is getting Parkinson’s and needs to see a doc straight away.

By the way, you say that like it’s a bad thing. I’ll be playing Skyrim for the rest of my life. I think maybe you should chill out and be nicer. It’s ok to have issues with a game’s mechanics and ask to see if devs can assist. It’s called feedback. Whether I get sick or not has zero effect on you. The game can be first AND 3rd person view. Not everyone sees immersion the same way. Immersion is also in a player’s style or how they view the game’s world. The Witcher is 3rd person and I can’t think of a more immersive game.
