ich habe vorhin KCD auf CD gekauft. Nun findet der Download in Steam aber übers Internet statt, wieso ?

i just bought KCD on CD. I opened the CD an Steam starts Downloading from Internet not from CD, why ?
Perhaps they made it like that so you can’t play it earlier than it’s release date on Steam? I’m not entirely sure.

Okay well thats really hard for people with a bad connection like me 
so either i download it now or i wait and install from cd tomorrow … hmmm
If you have a bad connection, download as soon as possible so you can play once it launches!
The DVD seems to do nothing also for me (even i started the installation with setup.exe on dvd). Half hour the game have been downloading with half speed, have not asked to switch DVD and harddrive usage have been zero. Only made the folder.
yeah same here, i hoped i dont need do download thios big file witht he cd but i think i have to
Yeah, I hoped I would be able to download the patch over night as it is supposed to be huge, but the CD does not work for installation…
It may be just because I am not really able to use Windows, or it has some odd setup.
