EDIT: After playing extensively last night, and going from Ratty to Sasau, to Uzhitz, I came to the conclusion that it was only in Sasau and Rattay where the pop ins were really bad. Input lag is still there, and can’t seem to repair my bow for some reason, but they have pretty much fixed the slow texture loadings, and in the countryside/smaller towns no pop ins at all! Graphics seem better too.
Well, I only was able to play about 30 minutes, but while I was playing I went to the Weaponsmith in Rattay to repair a few weapons that were too badly damaged for me to repair myself, and that worked fine. It showed all weapons that had damage, as it should, and it worked. But then I went to repair the weapons I could repair myself, clicked on my blacksmith kit, clicked on the first weapon I was trying to repair, a Cuman bow I believe, and all it did was make a strange sound I haven’t heard yet, and then the bow disappeared from the repair screen. I went to try and click the repair kit again, as the bow hadn’t been repaired, and it gave a pop-up message saying “Nothing to mix with” or something similar. So I went back to the weapon smith to have him repair it, and it was completely gone from the repair section for him too. With the horse, I was going to put the blacksmith repair kit back in its inventory, since I keep all of the repair kits in my horses inventory, and I got the “Horse cannot carry anymore” pop-up message. It fixed itself though after a few minutes, so was more of just an annoyance than a game breaking thing. Going to try again now that I’m back home. I wish I had looked at the forums here before just installing the new patch lol Really hoping the pop ins can be fixed, I would gladly take the slow texture loading over buildings, bridges, NPC’s etc popping in and out randomly every time I turned around or sprinted faster the game can load. About to go try some more, fingers crossed and I’ll be back to report anything else I find.
