during the quest baptism of fire, i get right up to the end. where sir radzig and sir divish’s soldiers are bashing on the gate to the church and the cutscene starts, where henry chases after runt. as soon as the cutscene ends my game crashes. this is ruining this game for me, cant progress through the story line at all. everytime i restart the game and load i have to battle my way back up the hill only to have it crash every time, it just happened to me 3 times in the last half an hour. PLEASE HELP !!!
Try trimming save files and restarting the sys. Yesterday, I had a crash later in the game. Behaved much as you described. Getting rid of the files and restarting fixed the problem
i had turned my console off the second time it happened, let it rest for 5 and then turned it back on, just to have it happen again. loaded separate save earlier and the same problem occurred.
Yes, this bug is already known, it will be fixed with the next update 1.6 quite soon.

He can’t talk about the update as that signals the DLC release date…kinda getting annoyed with it, yes I want the DLC but I need to know when to book my days off so I can play it. I understand the problems with patches etc in the past and they don’t want to be seen as giving false information if something gets delayed due to sony or Microsoft but don’t keep people hanging on, you said it would be a few days 5 days ago then you said end of e3 well that’s been and gone. Just keep people informed. Release a price for the DLC so people can make sure it’s in there account wallets waiting. Tell people when you’ve put the patch forward to the department’s and when you hope for it to drop. If there’s a problem just tell people. You will find people are a lot more understanding then you think

Try pressing your “Back” button when you get the black screen.
I had several fails before I thought it necessary to try something.
“B” worked for my XBox One.
it sucks that they cant give us any info at all, i understand why, but all its doing is making people like myself lose interest in the game. i cant continue until this patch comes through and i’m not the only one that’s having this bug problem, most of us dont want to start the whole game again and grind through the quests just to encounter the same problem
ive pressed every button on the controller in an effort to get it to work, doesn’t help me
I’m not sure what your expectation is. At least one patch will be out by end of this month. I’m waiting for it so I can play playline2. It’s painful but …
Agreed I don’t want to start another story just in case I have to start again once 1.6 patch or DLC releases and I have no interest to continue with my story I’m currently on due to it being pretty much complete
I’m happy to wait for patches to be released. There’s a lot of testing to do. I’d rather all the fixes are fully checked out as well as a thorough look to help minimise any new issues that a patch may introduce. With the best will in the world, if they find a problem in a patch then a change has to be made and the testing starts over again.
