I haven’t run into the save corruption bug, thank God; however, I think I was very close. I have been a gamer for most of my life and I started to see things happening that made me think the end was near (save corruption). It all started two days ago, I decided to really dig into the combat system and leave the main quest behind for a while. I went on a bandit/cumen murdering spree that lasted almost 15 hours (I have some time off from adult stuff- school/work and murdering seemed like a good use of that time).
At any rate, I am happy that I did that and now I am about to tackle The House Of God quest. I began seeing things disappear in front of my character. I would open a container with the steal option and after backing out, baskets, bags, and entire walls would vanish. I went to the Talmberg inn to store items and the ceiling and top floor vanished completely. That’s when I noticed something odd in my inventory. I had a halberd in my personal storage. It weighed 11 pounds (I think that is the measurement) and had a value of 1k. Now, what’s interesting is, halberds cannot be stored in this game and once picked up it automatically gets equipped. I could not sell it nor could I store it at any of the chests found throughout the game. I dropped it and erased a majority of my back saves. Once I did that my game began to run properly again. Hopefully, this averts the save corruption bug for my game and helps anyone experiencing issues like this.
