Hello. My game load seems to permanently bug out after reaching a certain point in “The Hunt Begins” quest. Basically, any save made after the auto-save when I go to the forest north of Neuhof seems to fail. I’ve restarted this several times to see if it replicates and it does. Anytime I save/reload before going to Neuhof seems to work. Anytime I save/reload after going to Neuhof, it goes “Game Load Failed.” It seems going to Neuhof permanently breaks my save game. Unfortunately, I think this renders the game unplayable for me because I will be unable to progress in the Main Quest in any save.
After a bit more of testing, it seems any save made after visiting Neuhof for the first time will fail. It is not necessary to talk to anyone in Neuhof. Save/reload works up until I get close to Neuhof, then it no longer works.
This is on 1.7.
