PS4 Game Save/Load Corruptions

Hey guys, I’ve only recently received the game. I play on PS4, updated to the most current patch (as of 11/2018) and no other mods or anything like that.

I keep consistently having save/load issues. I save the game, either through sleeping or through schnapps, and it says it’s saved successfully. And then I’ll go off and die or something and the load will fail. The last save file is nowhere to be seen (likely corrupted).

I know there have been saving issues in the past, but is anyone else having this issue? It’s made me super paranoid about saving and I’m now spending an absurd amount on schnapps to backup my gameplay. I’ve already lost several hours of game time due to this issue and would love a fix! :frowning:

the same shit has happened to me over and over again

i noticed that sleeping in a bed normally saves the game

but using schnapps are useless as 90% of the time i use them it always says load failed

Only way to do that is to use your disc game and dump that, then install it. Not completly sure it will work but it should. Try and tell me, does it work or not!

I’m on Ps4 aswell (pro not sure if that makes any difference)digital copy. but it seems I have the same problem only for savior snaps.

I had to do an archery contest and win so I used the savior snaps to retry only to have it “fail to load” and delete the snaps save file.

Lucky I hit a side quest before this and the game did an auto save. Retried the savior like 10 times out of curiosity since the other save was there. All of them failed.

Beds seems to work for me okay as long as I actually hold down the x button to sleep and save

Alright, I’ve been testing and it’s totally the Schnapps. They get corrupted almost every time and are completely and utterly useless. I just lost 4 hours of straight play covering 6 different Schnapps saves. I kept trying to load one after the other and each one was corrupted. Now I’ve lost quest progress, oodles of loot, and a little piece of my soul.

Also, for whomever finds the info useful, I’m on patch 1.7.1 and play with the disk in the PS4, no DLC yet. This royally sucks. D:
