On the PS4, I’ve encountered an issue where the game corrupts every save after a certain point. Multiple bed saves, schnapps, etc. all fail. It will corrupt 5+ saves in a row (that I made to try to ensure it doesn’t fail).
This appears to be pretty consistent and I’ve not been able to fix it, meaning the dang thing is “stuck”.
While I have had pretty frequent save corruptions since the last patch, they were mildly annoying and not persistent. The only odd thing that happened (which may or may not be related) is I had gone to do a healing, launder and bath at the Sausu bathhouse. I had done some crime, so they wanted me to pay a fine. I think it was knocking someone out then being in the vicinity hah. Anyway, the weird thing is halfway through the healing, it was interrupted by a guard demanding I pay (as if I had surrendered, which I was not prompted to do).
It is immediately prior to this point that the game did a save. It was frozen for a good five minutes. Then after resolving the fine, the guard drew his sword and started yelling he’d caught me. After a moment, he settled down and walked off without trying to talk to me or prompting for a surrender. This save with the bathhouse is the one I’m “stuck” at.
If anyone has instructions on how to lift the files from PS4 to give them to the devs, I’d be happy to.
