Hi gamers ! Yesterday I updated the game from 1.2.5 to 1.3 (ps4) and get a bug/improvement that killed the fighting system for me. I can’t do perfect block (riposte) and dodging anymore. I’ve read about similar problem on this forum but only for perfect block and only with some types of weapons. In my case it doesn’t work for all weapons. It works in slow mo on lesson with teacher but not on training or real fight. Do somebody have the same problem ? Any advices ?
Same problem, only can’t do ripostes which is extremely annoying against the more difficult opponents
Snap… Ive seen a post talking about this 2 weeks ago and that was on pc as it was the 1.3.1 patch so im assuming it has already been reported yet still no hotfix. So for us console users we may have to wait another few weeks for 1.3.1 then maybe a month for 1.3.4 or 1.4 or w/e. Im really starting to lose interest now the game was better for me upon release and now patch after patch something annoys me more… first the torch not coming out holding the dpad and now riposte is broke. How long are we going to have to wait to play this game… sad times
Torch comes out for me on d-pad. How is it not working for you? I just hold left d-pad for 2 seconds and it comes right out.
Read properly. Patch after patch. First it was the torch. Meaning this was the annoying bug last patch… before 1.3 which has now been fixed and replaced with broken riposte.
It’s easy to read your paragraph and take it to mean you were noticed a torch issue and then notices the riposte - all from this same patch.
No need for the hostility as my post had none in it. I literally thought I was being helpful in case you just weren’t holding the d-pad down long enough.
No hostility sent I was just baffled that it ended with telling me how to get the torch out 
Does something so obvious need pointing out though there are only 2 binds for left dpad, tap for weapon or hold for torch which the game tells you as soon as you are able to.
Honestly I was confused by the torch vs. weapon thing at first. I’m recovering from being very ill, so I’d just been home from the hospital a day when I started the game. So I briefly saw it mention dpad for torch and dpad for weapon, and of course for bow. Then I was like, wait why do I keep bringing out my torch when I’m trying to fight? On accident i hit it at a different speed and the lightbulb went off!
