[PS4] The game is great, but loading time just kills the immersion

I’m playing with the latest patch 1.6:

  • Loading time is too long

  • Opening the map takes 3 secs

  • Opening inventory makes the game freeze 3 secs

  • Eating from pots and washing makes me watch 4 second black loading screen

  • When you fast travel and reached destination, the game still continues to load in the black screen for ~15 secs even though you can hear that the game is ready but you can’t no anything. What the heck?

  • The time between holding square for haggling and the actual haggling cut scene is way too long. Sometimes when I choose haggling the game takes me back but never switch to haggling scene, so npc just stands there doing nothing.

  • And not to mention, why the heck do I have to watch the 2 minute long story introduction aka loading screen every damn time I start the game? It’s really tedious!!

I love this game but man, the loading time just takes the fun and immersion away… Sometimes I feel like loading time in Skyrim and waiting for a match in BF1 combined is still quicker than this.

I have to agree a bit with this… load times seem really long. I still love the game and will play it. but man…

Getting slower and popins worse as well. Got a fatal CE crash fast traveling to Sasau butcher during Supplies quest

Delete reinstall. And the stupid autosaves. Gotta trim those as well (based on PS4 instability in past when had around 10 saves)

I agree. it’s really sad when the game is already slow paced, but loading time and looking at the clock running are even slower.

The game is intentionally slow paced to get you into the story and atmosphere.

Same here on slim PS4. Only run fast on PC, PS4 PRO and XBOX 1 (better hardware).
Old console players have to suffer, like us.
