PS4 user with some questions

Hello. I am playing this game on PS4 and had the following questions. I would appreciate if someone could take a moment to answer them.

  1. My attempts at choking people using L2 fail every time. I have tried a lot of things such as removing all equipment to reduce noise to 0, targeting different NPCs, tapping L2, letting go of L2 after pressing once, keeping L2 held down, etc. Any idea what I am doing wrong?
  2. The Warhorse gauntlets are invisible on my character. Is it a bug?

Thanks for your time and apologies if these questions have been answered earlier. Even in its current state, I am loving this game!

you need better skill to choke them I believe
later you can choose a perk where you can use a dagger to kill from behind

The Warhorse armor is bugged at the moment esp. on PS4

also be sure to make backups of your saves because there is some bug that can corrupt your savefiles after the game crashes
these things will be adressed with next patch

I have the same issue as OP. The character attempts to choke someone out, will go for it and then it just stops mid animation and the arms go back down to the side.

I also was not aware there was a perk for using the dagger - this is good information and i will keep a look out for it.
