PS4 v1.04 - Game Hung - Questions and Answers - Interrogate

So, just now cured the town (Pestilence) and went to talk to the prisoner, got all the way through the dialog but when it was finished, it seemed to be trying to either save the game or load a cutscene and just spun and hung.

Loaded an earlier save (before curing the town) and had the same result. Will continue to backtrack on my saves and see if anything works but at this point my game is pretty much over.

May consider restarting but figure I’ll wait until after the update to see if anything get’s fixed. Open to any advice Thanks.

Found a save that allowed the cutscene to play out; will try to report the difference between what worked and what didn’t.

I just ran into this problem any info wud b awesome.

What I think is happening is that it’s trying to show a cutscene with the character Straw in it and in my original save line, something happened to him. I had to revert play a few hours and re-play the entire pestilence side quest and finally got through to the next step in the main quest. Was messy and I’m not sure what all I’ve missed but I can move forward with the main storyline now.

Nice I had to completely start over because I didn’t have any previous saves… Hopefully I can work around it this time.

You will be able to continue main story but just be warned, a lot of ps4 players couldn’t finish the quest due to a major game breaking bug. I had patch 1.3 installed and game ended for me. Good luck.
