Question about main quest and when to do side quests-no spoilers

I have noted many of the main quests are meet at tomorrow at dawn or Meet beween such and such time. My fear is if i do not do the quest right then and there I will mess up the main quest. Due to this I have no idea when to do any side quests. I know side quests may complete on their own if you do not do them.

Any advice on how to fit in the side quests would be great. Can I ignore the main quest and do side quests a bit then go back to main quest? Some story wise makes sense to go to the next main quest for immersion reasons but is there a part will I can slow down a bit?

Just started the Hunt begins and hoping maybe to go do some side quests once that is completed…will that work?

I’m still on one of the first main quests, Awakening, where I have to talk to sir Radzig, however I have 38 hours in the game lol. Been doing lots of side quests and exploring and fighting bandits, hunting. Having fun!

~ Hope that helps!

Pretty sure Awakening is the first quest out of the tutorial if I remember lol!

I am thinking I should have waited a bit before talking to Sir Radzig. Hoping there is another point that does not make me feel like i best go do it right away. The story is fantastic and immersive. I am now at a part where things seem urgent.

I’m pretty sure there is no deadline for any quest. Especially doubt they would force you to do the storyline or else consequence of failure, seems unlikely!

Thanks. Thinking I am going to go explore a bit after I complete The Hunt Begins.

Would highly recommend it. It’s a beautiful map with lots to do and filled with bandits to slay! Lots of fun, but stay out of trouble!

Also if you don’t have a horse yet, head to Uzhitz. There is a horse trader there that sells a cheap tier 1 horse. Very much worth to start carrying all that bandit loot!
