Question regarding post-release plans

Leading up to the release of Kingdom Come: Deliverance I have been playing a few games of the same-ish genre and I began to wonder.

Does Warhorse Studios have any plans on DLC’s or future content patches to add in more items or options such as changing hairstyles and fun little things like that? Of course I have no clue if they already had plans of implementing that, but would be fun to see tiny content patches or full blown expansions that might add some post-game quests or the like.
I know some people are not fans of DLC’s, I on the other hand is not one of them, Unless the DLC is a day-one DLC I do not believe that it’s developers “Selling us the full game in pieces” but rather extensions to the game.
Would love to hear what other people would find interesting in terms of DLCs/content patches.

Free dlc is fine while paid dlc is a plague that we live with now.

As for a paid expansion that is totally fine.

I don’t really believe that DLC’s are a plague… I think Day one DLC’s are a plague(Mass Effect), yes. Or unlocking content that has been in the game from the start is a plague (Destiny)… DLC’s are honestly just fine as long as they add something meaningful to the game, and a lot of companies do that just fine… of course there’s also the obvious ones such as Bioware that just has no concept of how to do DLC’s, locking important story behind day-one DLC…

But still, DLC’s are a great way for devs to add more to the already finished product, and a way for people to support their favorite devs.

If they want to release an expansion to the game that is fine in my book. DLC on the other hand is out of control. Which I know they call it all DLC but there is a difference.

DLC= http://store.steampowered.com/app/537770/GalGun_Double_Peace__Pheromone_Z_Item/
Expansion= http://store.steampowered.com/app/378648/The_Witcher_3_Wild_Hunt__Blood_and_Wine/

Let’s be honest here. DLC is such a broad term it literally covers anything that can be added to the game through online download. Expansions falls under the same category as long as it is avaible through online purchase and download…

Would you call the new races/factions in Total war games DLC’s or Expansions? i personally call them DLC’s, and wortwhile DLC’s as well if I have to be honest… or well… some of them are at least cough Grim and the Grave DLC for Warhammer total war cough

DLC’s aren’t evil, the problem lies with stingy business people wanting to push out arbitrary (Excuse my language) bullshit for a tiny penny. I do not believe Warhorse to be that kind of developer. For example, there are some features they mentioned that didn’t make it into the full game, but that they wanted, if they could take time to work on that and implement it in somehow post-release I believe I might be willing to support them for it, it’s always a pleasure to see people be as fired up about a passion project as the devs and people working on KCD.

I am curious aswell, but for the more technical side.

Will future updates continue with fixes and improvements. And not just to fix bugs and improve stability but also increase performance, add or polish animations etc.

And besides that, there are actual plans to add content, like the female quest line and other features that didnt make the initial release.

Instead of expansions I hope they continue on with KCD2. This game they learned alot. Let them improve their current systems in the next game. And when all works as intended, make expansions for that game. Because of the historical ‘limitations’ they cant just make up stuff between games. And KCD2 would be a direct continuation. (As far as the timeframe is concerned)
