Question to devs

First of all i want say that this is very beutifull graphical game from what i have seen, i’m a person who enjoys graphics alot and valleys ingame.

So my questions are:

1 During release, what gpu card is required for max graphics 40+ fps? Right now i have Gtx 970 and i don’t feel like it’s gonna be enough.
2. Will a card like gtx 1070 get me 40+ fps on max settings, or do i need Gtx 1080 and need to upgrade my proccesor (i7 3770) ?

  1. Will it be multiplayer?
  1. Impossible to say, since release is over a year away. It will also depend on the resolution and detail settings, but I would be surprised if a card as popular and powerful and the 970 couldn’t do an average 40 FPS after the game has been optimized.

  2. Again, impossible to say, but most likely yes to both cards being able to handle 40+. Your CPU should be fine.

No multiplayer in the first game, and a distant possibility in later games.

Right in the moment the beta is more limited by the processor. All the AI eats CPU power like mad. Like @Aradiel mentioned the release is far away, and the game has to run on X1 and PS4. Your hardware is much faster than the consoles. I think it will be fine.

KCD should not be the reason for a CPU and Graficcard upgrad. Who many RAM do you have? Only 8? A upgrad to 16 will make sense.

Anyone who is not just a passive PC gamer should be getting a K chipset and learn to overclock. It is not difficult at all to safely squeeze out at least an extra GHz without any danger to hardware, IF you educate yourself and install aftermarket cooling, all instructions available online.

Unless you have multiple multitasking windows open and several apps running at the same time (some like Fraps or variant for video capture, to each their own, I just game when gaming…) then 8 GB of RAM should be plenty especially if using a SSD or two, one for OS and the other for games. Optimize your OS and make it lean by getting rid of bloat running in the background. Steam is horrendously bloated, but what can you do…

Don’t believe the hype, no developer is going to create a game requiring systems to have 16 GB of RAM in the near or even middle future. And if so, by then you’ll be purchasing another computer.

I was thinking of getting this:

Thoughts?

There’s also this:

They are good but way to expensive for the delivered hardware. You should be fine for KCD with either of them.

wouldnt it be cheaper to buy separate components and put the computer together yourself?
