lol… you only need to be in the right position. Reminds my of my time in the army, when I exchanged shoepolish for some extra breakfast buns or to get french fries instead of rice. It is convenient if you sit on the origin of supplies.
But I have nothing to exchange… just my deep gratefulness
if you’re looking for a game stick with dragon age and wait for KCD to be released fully .
at the moment you’re deciding whether to trade in a fully working ford focus for a single Lamborghini wheel . by all means you can grab a wheel a help test said wheel before it goes on the finished lambo or you can drive off into the sunset in your shitty ford focus and come back and buy the lambo when its all shiny and finished …ok im talking bollocks again but you get the picture
you need to look up youtube videos about alpha if you haven’t already. In reality, theres not much to do in alpha. About 7 or 8 quests or so? keep dragon age to entertain you for now. thats what i would do if i didn’t have money. then in a few months when update DOES come out i would recommend to pledge. Or you could do whatever you want… that works to…
I’m gonna pledge in June do u think the prices will be the same or close to the same for pledging in June 4th or 5th??? Or will the pledge prices likely raise?
Actually we really think to slightly rise the prices in future. But I don’t know how far or near this futue is… it’s still just an idea
@TobiTobsen few more questions- @TheDivineInfidel & @McWonderBeast
1)I notice the next update will be @ E3… does that mean they will release the update during time of E3, or before or after???
2)Also after that combat update is released what weapons will there be? Just swords or more weapons???
3)Next, will the open world be better at that open world and be fun to openly explore and stuff?
4)Are there horses yet?
-
Don’t know.
-
Familiarize your self with the the game Overview page answers allot.
- You have asked and rephrased this question several times. This is something that will be subject to opinion noone will be able to tell you how it will be its based on perspective.
4)in the alpha no. going to be in the game yes.
Does anyone have any good recommendations for open world fantasy games like this… (Excluding, Mount + Blade series, Elder Scrolls, and Witcher series)
the game isn’t fantasy and there’s really nothing out there like it. i’m not sure what you’re asking. do you mean a game that’s fantasy, but has similar premise to kcd? doesn’t compute, because fantasy itself contradicts the premise. kcd early slogan" dungeons and no dragons"
What I meant was a medieval style sword play, etc. games open world similar to KCD… fantasy was wrong way to describe… my bad.
Greetings!
Actually there are some news! But @McWonderBeast answered most. But let me give you some quick and short answers too.
- Surprise surprise. But I am pretty sure that it will be during or after the E3… we want the Jorunalists to meet us and see it, you know. They would be less motivated if they already know the Tech Alpha 0.4 build
- Right now the only weapons we use are the bow and the sword. Other weapons MAY be added but I wouldn’t rely on that! Better expect just the swords for now and be suprised later! (Talking about the Alphas!)
- If you mean larger with the term better, then yes! We plan to extend the Tech Alpha about 1 village (+maybe more)
- At least it’s planned for the next build!
- You want to know where you can get your pledge?! Easy… just visit pledge.kingdomcomerpg.com!
Open world medieval games are not many.
Though you might be interested in: Chivalry medieval warfare, War of the Roses (great fighting system, but takes getting used to), War of the Vikings (pretty similar to War of the Roses but fighting system is much worse. Vikings though)
Otherwise there are games like: Assassins creed series, Shadow of Mordor (though pretty short and repetitive, but fighting system is interesting and there is a LOT of fighting against countless enemies)
Cannot think of anything else, might be Ryse Son of Rome, but I heard that it is not so great. And it is just a corridor game.
Good luck finding something worth.
I would scratch Vikings off your list. They cut support for it, and barely anyone plays it anymore. They kept that god awful server side hit detection so the whole game is just fucked.
I didn’t know that it was this bad. But I had some wun with it.
Yeah defiantly not worth buying now. When it wasn’t broken there were only like 2 servers open sometimes. Roses has a small player base but its still worth buying.
Im pretty sorry that I bought War of Roses since develeopers showed as true SJW when they called part of the playerbase mysogenist simply becouse somebody asked if we can expect more unhistorical stuff in future like in Kingmaker, which included playable woman knight and a bear mask helmet.
People talk about all the unhistorical stuff in game all the time but suddenly it was problem. Devs never read the rest of the forum so in their ignorance they wrote that nobody ever complained about unhistorical stuff until that (which was big lie) and therefore if anyone note that its unhistorical now = mysogeny. They continue that we did not lived in these days so nobody really knows - and that Johan of Arc and Queen Elizabeth were warriors etc…
I’m done with Fatshark since that. I din’t really mind woman kinght (the bear mask bother me more) and I understand that they needed to appeal wider audience but they shouldn’t behave like that. Especialy when they supported they claims by lie or ignorance.
just get GTA V and run over some old women .
Yeah not to mention they were terrible at balancing the game. Crossbows were op from the start and never got nerfed and when i stopped playing 2h axes were insanely op. The ping problem was by far the worst though. I still pop on some times because i like the archery.
the game was not that historic to begin with. a lot of nonsense and bs, and the fighting was just a more awkward and hard to control form of mount and blade’s fighting, with all the same flaws and canned animation ugliness.
i bought it because there was a deluge of medieval historic combat games, but then abandoned it as soon as the reindeer helmet came out. and indeed, that was the time that signaled their descent.
i wasn’t around for the latest shenanigans, but that misogyny accusation is hilarious. what a bunch of morons. it’s what happens when ignorance is combined with confirmation bias. i’m sure they actually believed joan of arc and queen elizabeth were commonplace occurrences and they fought on the field, etc. bad historical knowledge informed by modern day “agenda” based academic and popular belief.
then the whole misogyny thing. jeez, it can get shoehorned into anything these days.
