Questions about Kingdom Come

The time I was playing they were changing balance quite often so what was deadly at one week were useless another… 2h weapons dominated most of the time though. I loved to play longbowman with small shield and 1h axe or sword and salet witout visor.

I bought it after i saw trailer on steam which gives me impresion of historical, realistic game… even after I saw the upgrades and tournament helmets, coat of arms airbrush… .etc I still was able to enjoy the game, just joined others on forum suggesting “historical” mod without it. Also I came from Age of Chivalry (HL2 mod that then evolve to Chivalry game) so I was happy it looks at least that historical. And I liked their combat more than M&B.

Well… perhaps they dont believe that. Somebody in that discusion found comment where devs explaining that they dont plan feamle knights as its too unhistorical… few months later then they blame people of mysogyny for saying the same. It was just desperate attept to bring more people I think. And hypocrisy lvl over 9000.

@TobiTobsen I am considering pledging but also considering the Witcher 3 as I like the look of it but also don’t like the massive amounts of sexual content.
I was just considering it, because the open world seems like it could get semi better in this next update. I was also wondering when you say it’s planned for next build for horses… Do you mean like there will be horses in 0.4 KCD?

Will there be the 4 swords I see or just 1 of them???

This game won’t be really playable more than year. The alpha is just for testing, it’s not for actual playing, there isn’t much to do. The Witcher game will be out in a few days. Buy Witcher now, and you can buy KC:D next year and you won’t miss anything. It doesn’t make sense to be deciding between completed Witcher game and bugged tech alpha which only contains like 1/1000 of the game.

Naa… its not so easy. You not only have to decide between done and undone, but also about the decision of fantasy dragons and mighty peasant Luboš. Wo needs dragons if you can have your own digital Luboš?

I’ve actually decided to back KCD next time I get money… I really like the project and all… I think it will also be fun to be part of alpha and such…So, thanks for all your answers everyone to my questions… I have been watching videos and am VERY confident about the game being great, so I decided to pledge… I mean legit what could be more fun than playing the Witcher 3… Anyways special thanks to the following for helping me to realise I want to support KCD.

1 LAST Question…

  1. Will the prices likely raise for pledging KCD by June 3rd? That’s when I’ll be able to pledge…

@TobiTobsen @TheDivineInfidel I was wondering what’re your guy’s steams so I could friend you and ask you Q’s and A’s in the future… especially when I will be playing the game after I pledge somewhere b4 E3 and June 5.

Better contact me here or via mail! I am more of a consolero!

How many gingers there will be in the game? Can I play as a ginger  ? But seriously, I have read through some existing topics, but did not find any official statement. I know that much about Henry must be given so the story makes sense, but since you have such a cool tech for characters creation, are we going to be able to adjust our characters appearance (at least to some extent)? Little thinks like this makes role-playing much more fun…

yes in terms of grooming at barbers, but you can’t change your genetics

Nope, there won’t be any souless characters in the game.

@Freix @TheDivineInfidel @TobiTobsen what’re the system requirements… What settings can I run on my current and what FPS:
8gb ADATA DDR3 RAM
Intel i3 4130 3.4 gHz 2 cores 4 Hyperthread cores
Nvidia Geforce GTX 750ti 2gb GDDR5
1TB SATA Toshiba Western Digital / 80GB SATA Toshiba Drive

  1. Does KCD have gamepad support yet on PC?

  2. Is there a confirmed date for the next alpha build?

  3. How big will the open world be expected be after this next update like how many KMsq?

  4. Will there be a lot more to do in the open world after the next alpha build or not really? Will there be a signifcant difference in stuff to do?

  5. At beta will the map expand or not by much? Will there be a lot to do in the open world then, at beta?
    Thanks, beast

  1. I guess it depends on what resolution you use, but I think you should have solid FPS even on High.

  2. Yes

  3. Yep, around the time of E3. My guess is they will at first present it on E3 so journalists will have an exclusive material for publishing, and then they will release it for backers.

  4. I don’t know, but there should be a new village if I remember corectly.

  5. Yeah, there will be a big difference. Combat + horse riding + new quests + more. But still keep in mind that it’s intended for testing, not for actual playing, so don’t expect a complex game.

  6. Beta is planed to be like Early Access of Wasteland 2, meaning that it will contain +/- 1/3 of the game.

  1. How much storage does the game take @Freix @TobiTobsen … also I was wondering your steam name so I can ask you more questions…

  2. I understand the game will come out around E3, but how much later after E3 would they release it, because if I am waiting around till late June or early July I don’t know if I would want to wait that long considering I would back this to entertain me during summer. There aren’t really any good RPG’s besides this that I can think of to last me summer… already played Skyrim, Oblivion, Fallout New Vegas & 3, The Far Cry series, etc.

Current alpha build Takes up just under 3GB, 2984MB.

If you missed it Tobi has addressed this before.

He doesn’t subscribe to the PC elitist doctrine…Yet.

Its actually the release of Alpha 0.4 that is expected around E3.

The final game has an estimated release of summer 2016.

So you may still want to shop around for something to occupy you this summer.

I will say that I have 50+ hours logged in the current alpha build and with all the planned content in the E3 build I will quickly be tripling that time, but it is not a complete experience and will leave you craving more.

Lets hope there’s a save state function this time around *nudge nudge

*cough @TobiTobsen

50+ hours on current alpha?
What do you even do there?
