Questions regarding npc/enemy respawns

First of all this is the best rpg I have ever played. In fact it also has the best combat I have come across. Currently I am playing on the PS4 Slim which means that even with the graphical downgrades compared to the PS4 pro xboneX and of course the PC versions, I am still having a blast. I have only just purchased KCD and thus did not follow its development cycle like many here have, so please excuse me if my questions are already well known. Frankly KC:D poops all over TW3. I do have some questions however:

  1. Do enemy camps respawn and when I “finish” the game as in the main story line and all side quests, will I still encounter random hostile NPC’s in forests and roads? Will brigand/Cuman camps still respawn?
I love combat above all things, and I am constantly looking for hostile npc’s to fight.

  2. Have the base PS4 and Xbone versions of KCD, had any content cut, especially with regards to the number of hostile camps and random NPC encounters, compared to the PS4Pro/XboneX and of course PS versions? I.e, are there less npcs in the weaker console versions of this game?

  3. Will Warhorse studios continue to add content for KCD or at least will they make a sequel? They have created such a masterpiece here that it would be terrible if KCD was to be their only title.

My only suggestion at this time is that in future titles similar to KCD, that the devs add random enemy patrols scouring the countryside as well as more “static” camps. Thanks for your patience and I am glad to be part of this community!

Yes.

…I don’t know about the other stuff.

Welcome, teppogaijin! Same PS4 here, and I too am having a great time. over 220 hours in, but getting very close to finishing the main quest.
Camps do respawn, with varying timing.
I’m told by a friend who finished the MQ that all open side quests remain active, and you can travel and explore to your heart’s content.
I don’t know much about the other questions, but I agree, I hope Warhorse continues with this excellent type of RPG.
NOTE - there evidently is a “Part 2” to this game (actually final Third Act) that hopefully will be out soon.
Enjoy the forum, and don’t let the whiners get to you!

Thanks for the replies guys. So while some of my questions still stand, is it safe to say that there will most definitely be a full on sequel aka KC:D 2 at some point? Have any of the devs confirmed this? Thanks.

The short answer is yes…

Awesome! Warhorse has created an extraordinary formula here and it would be a tragedy for vidya if they were not to conitnue making games in the same vain as KC:D.
