I’m not sure where this thread should go - but I think that this game deserves a thread dedicated to sharing how we all solve our quests in the funniest and most memorable ways…
This is definitely a big SPOILER thread - so be forewarned.
I’m just having an absolute blast playing this game. Waited so many years for another great RPG and this one is scratching an itch I never knew was so bad… (dont read too much into that) 
So eh – I’d love to hear how you all have solved some quests and made them really fun and enjoyable!
Quest: Tough Love
Overview: Elishka is crying outside of the executioners house at Talmberg. The executioner just had to execute her husband for some crimes he committed. Elishka doesnt know what to do with her life now and doesnt have any family left.
My solution:
- Started quest
- Went to see the Bailiff about family records, using persuasion check on the scribe upstairs to get him to tell me.
- Went to the farm of Elishkas husband’s family, talked to the “Old Hag” who was a really menacing wench that finally said she would take Elishka in if she worked hard “but tell her she wont have it easy! and if she gives me any trouble I’ll take a stick to her back!”
- Talked to the “Old Man” who just told me to “Piss Off! Go bother someone else!” (wouldnt even talk to me)
- Decided this wasnt the family for her - so I stealth killed them both
- Went back to Elishka, she asked if I had found any of her family, my reply: “Yes I did, but…ah…they died” (insane laughing)
- Found out that the executioner always loved Elishka. Told Elishka she should stay with him.
- Romance cutscene ensues and I’ve made a happy couple, happier than she was with her previous criminal husband!
Couldnt stop laughing.
These quests are amazing.
You can solve them in so many ways, and anything you do in the game world, the quests react to it and have different endings.
For next time I’ll share my trip into the mental asylum with a so unsuspecting looking farmer in the Sasau Monastary who ends up being the best sociopath ive ever seen in an RPG! (Definitely do his quest!)
So, how have all of your funny endings gone??? I cant wait to replay this game and try things other ways…
